Reddit's free API tier is capped per app (requests per minute and per month), shared across everything that app does. Your own app keeps that quota scoped to your account only.
Reply is paused app-wide
SocFlow doesn't accept new Reddit account connections right now — there's no connect flow in the app for it. Reads (watching subreddits, users, or keywords) and webhook actions don't need a Reddit connection and work today; only reply needs one, and that's paused. Reddit also now gates new app creation behind manual approval under its Responsible Builder Policy, so even a customer with their own app would face a multi-week wait once this reopens.
In the meantime, rules that watch a subreddit, a user, or a keyword — or that fire a webhook you own — work without connecting a Reddit account at all. App portal for when reply reopens: reddit.com/prefs/apps.
